The first work, Rebel Heart, was based on choreographer, (dancelab founder) Michelle Bucci’s real life battle with heart trauma. Dancelab’s application of growth mindset and positive techniques are integrated into the exclusive training programs, providing young dancers with the skill set required for a successful career in the industry.ĭancelab was established in 2020 launching The Company with their first Season at the Black Box theatre Nambour. Dancelab values authenticity and we specialise in training the whole dancer.
Dancelab consists of three main sectors, The Studio, The Company, and The College. Dancelab is a dance platform catering for all levels of dance with a focus on preparing and empowering independent artists through authentic contemporary dance training, professional performance opportunities and accredited educational pathways.
